Usually your PC choose a balanced power option for it. But you can make it a bit faster by changing your power setting. If you choose "High Performance" mode, that will cost more power or battery but it will give you better performance. To change that setting in Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10, you have to go to search. You can access there by going to start menu and then clicking on search icon. Type "battery setting". A option will appear as search result. Click on it. Then you will see " Balanced" option is selected. Now select "High Performance" and close the window.

Okay it's done. Now to clear up a bit of memory, open the program named "Run". Simply press Windows Button + R on your keyboard to open Run program. There type " tree" and press enter. A command prompt will run. It will finish it's work in a few seconds.

When you start your PC, your PC takes some times to be prepared. Because at that moment some programs get started. This surely makes your PC slow. To stop this, you have to prevent the programs from being started at start up. What you have to do is to bring up the task manager. Simply press Left Ctrl + Left Alt + Delete button and then press Task Manager (only in Windows 8 and later versions). Now, select the startup tab in task manager.

Now disable all unnecessary startup programs. Now when you will restart your PC, you will see how fast your PC will be prepared for use!

There are also some other ways to make your PC fast.

1. Removing wallpaper will make your PC fast.
2. Go to Run program. Type "regedit" and press enter. At the left side of the window you will see a menu. There, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Control Panel and click on "Desktop". Now many options will come in the main window. There select "MenuShowDelay" and double click. Change value data to 10. Click OK.
